Job Description

I need someone that can review and stamp plans for the State of Texas OR

Need an engineer to revise and update mechanical and plumbing plans, including grease interceptor details, based on City of Dallas revision comments.

Job includes:

Plumbing:

  • Redo plumbing plans, including changing the grease interceptor capacity from 1,000 gallons to 500 gallons, and adding a grease interceptor sizing criteria table based on the sinks and fixtures to show the city that the grease interceptor size is adequate for the ice cream shop.
  • Providing sizing information for all piping systems, including DWV, water, gas, drains, waste, and vents.
  • Ensuring all plumbing drains are properly vented.
  • Adding floor drains in public access restrooms.
  • Showing tempered water supply for public access lavatories and hand sinks.
  • Ensuring all hand sinks comply with plumbing code requirements.

Mechanical:

  • Adding grease duct sizing information.
  • Providing hood CFM exhaust rate.
  • Providing hood exhaust fan manufacturer specifications.
  • Adding make-up air details, including CFM supply rate of unit.
  • Providing condensate drain details for all appliances.
  • Adding roof access details.

Updating plans according to city checklist comments and revisions.

Existing plans and city comments will be provided, as well as the new plumbing plan up on request
