Job description:

M&A Advisor — Bloom Global Inc. Pleasanton, CA (East Bay) · Sunnyvale, CA (South Bay) Independent Contractor (1099) · Commission-Based No Base Salary · Full-Time or Part-Time

ABOUT BLOOM GLOBAL

Bloom Global Inc. is a technology-forward Mergers & Acquisitions and growth advisory firm headquartered in Silicon Valley. Founded in 2019, we have represented over 250 transactions and $2 billion in transaction value, and we are growing our advisory team across California and beyond.

What sets us apart from traditional M&A firms is our three-stage advisory model — we work with business owners across the full arc of their journey, not just at the point of sale:

Stage 1 — Grow: We help business owners build consistent, qualified pipelines through AI-powered outreach, targeted campaigns, and growth marketing strategy. Clients who engage us for growth advisory often become sell-side clients when they are ready to exit.

Stage 2 — Exit: When owners are ready to sell, we manage the full transaction — valuation, positioning, buyer campaign, due diligence, and close. Clients have complete visibility through our deal management platform.

Stage 3 — Prosper: After exit, we help clients protect and grow their wealth through tax-smart strategies, capital gains planning, and long-term investment planning.

Our clients are business owners making the biggest financial decisions of their lives. They deserve the same quality of advice that large corporations take for granted. That is why we built this firm.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a career for someone who wants to build something meaningful — not collect a paycheck. Unlike traditional M&A advisors who only earn when a deal closes, Bloom Global advisors have multiple ways to generate income across all three stages of our model.

Growth Advisory engagements create early, recurring revenue while you build your M&A pipeline. Exit transactions deliver significant success fees. And Prosper relationships extend your value to clients long after the deal is done.

There is no salary. There is no ceiling.

WHAT MAKES SOMEONE SUCCEED HERE

We are unusually candid about this role, so here is the honest picture:

  • Earning Client Trust: Business owners are making a once-in-a-lifetime decision when they choose an M&A advisor. They are not hiring credentials — they are hiring someone they believe in. Your ability to earn that trust through honesty, patience, and demonstrated expertise is the single most important factor in your success.
  • Dealing with Ambiguity: Transactions are complex. Timelines shift. Negotiations stall. You will be the quarterback driving deals forward for your clients. Staying grounded and keeping a process moving when things get uncertain is essential.
  • Financial Resilience: This is a high-reward career that takes time to ramp. You should have meaningful savings, passive income, or a transition plan in place. We are transparent about this because the right candidate will appreciate the honesty.
