Position Summary
Seeking highly motivated Project Managers/Construction Managers (PM/CM) to join our team supporting major boiler plant & chiller plant expansion projects at a VA Hospital in Miami, Florida. Qualified candidates must possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Mechanical Engineering and have demonstrated experience managing complex boiler plants, chiller plants, central utility plants, and utility building projects. Candidates should also have strong familiarity with MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and extensive HVAC systems experience, particularly within large-scale healthcare or hospital environments. Prior experience supporting hospital or healthcare facility construction, renovation, or modernization projects is strongly preferred.
Candidates will serve as Design and Construction Managers reporting directly to a Program Manager while collaborating closely with VA client staff. Responsibilities include providing technical expertise, overseeing design and construction coordination, supporting project planning and execution, generating reports and project documentation, coordinating with multidisciplinary stakeholders, and acting as the client’s representative on large-scale healthcare construction and infrastructure modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
The Construction Manager will be a part of a team of professionals and act as the Owner's Representative role on these programs from design through construction and closeout. The Construction Manager will be required to learn and integrate our company’s best practices related to project delivery, budget, schedule, quality and operations in the healthcare environment. The Construction Manager will act as an advisor/liaison with the client (user groups, design team, contractors, and facility engineering representatives). The Construction Management services will be used to support traditional Design-Bid-Build and Design/Build contracts. A summary of the major tasks is below.
