Leads I&C design teams for medium and large projectsMonitors scope, schedule, and budget and controls the work to the project planDevelops P&IDs, control strategies, network drawings, control panel layouts, technical memorandums, and other typical I&C drawings and deliverablesDevelops scopes of work for I&C systems, networks and projectsDesigns PLC SCADA networks for medium and large systemPrepares specifications for instruments, computers, networking equipment, PLCs and associated componentsReviews contractor and vendor submittalsDevelops preliminary and final construction cost estimates for I&CMeets with clients for design-related workshops, including instrument preferences, HMI graphics design and standard developmentConducts quality management reviews of instrumentation and control designsMentors and trains Staff Instrumentation EngineersEffectively participates in client contacts and business development effortsUnderstands, implements, and enforces company and client technical standards on projectsTravel required when requested during design, construction, and operation
