📝 Rquirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Physics and 5+ years of experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis of Aerospace Systems, Systems Analysis, and Design, or a Masters degree with 3+ years of experience in the same fields
- Proficiency as an AFSIM developer/analyst, including creating and validating movers, designing observers and post-processors, and conducting extensive Design of Experiments (DoE) studies
- Ability to create engaging OV-1s, data visualizations, and other presentation materials to communicate simulation techniques, assumptions, and insights effectively
- Experience managing technology development and Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) contracts with DoD clients
- Proven track record in leading Operations Research studies, identifying Technical Performance Metrics (TPMs), and crafting study plans from Statements of Work (SOWs) and Statements of Objectives (SOOs)
- Active US Government DoD Secret security clearance with potential for additional SAP clearance
👩💻👨💻 Your responsibilities are:
- Design and apply innovative software and systems techniques to investigate and solve complex technical challenges
- Create and utilize tools to visualize the battlespace at a mission or engagement level
- Develop, modify, and apply tools for analyzing data from simulations or flight test outcomes
- Model operational environments, conduct trade studies through computer simulation, and suggest alternative architectures
- Write software to replicate system behaviors in both real-time and constructive simulations
- Create, integrate, and utilize advanced graphical user interfaces and visualization tools
- Conduct mission simulations with industry-standard tools to assess mission effectiveness
- Execute engagement simulations using standard tools, MATLAB, Simulink, and others
- Perform modeling and simulation studies aimed at optimizing weapon system performance across various domains: air, land, sea, space, and cyber
- Assess system survivability, effectiveness, and overall performance through modeling, simulation, and analytics in mission-level scenarios
- Develop performance metrics and algorithms, threat models, and command and control frameworks for current or future system simulations
- Collect input from diverse stakeholders, analyze data, and relay findings to varying levels of leadership in our organization
- Engage in Agile engineering project methodologies
