Role Summary/Purpose

Join our dynamic team as a Mobile App Automation Engineer! We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented professional to lead our mobile automation strategy, design, and execution for complex, high-performance applications in the Financial and Banking domain. The ideal candidate will possess a robust foundation in Appium, XCUITest, and Java, along with experience in developing scalable automation frameworks and executing comprehensive test suites on real devices.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Design and develop comprehensive mobile test automation frameworks using Appium with Java for Android and iOS platforms.
  • Create and maintain test scripts, test data, and reusable components to ensure scalable and maintainable automation.
  • Execute and troubleshoot automated test scripts on physical devices, ensuring accuracy and real-world performance.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA leads, and product teams to identify high-risk areas and prioritize testing efforts.
  • Maintain documentation for framework architecture, test cases, and automation coverage.
  • Integrate automated scripts into CI/CD pipelines to contribute to continuous integration efforts.
  • Stay informed about emerging tools and trends in mobile automation and compliance.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of software testing experience, with a focus of at least 4+ years in mobile test automation.
  • Expertise in Appium and Cucumber, along with hands-on experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Familiarity with the ALM Octane framework.
  • Strong understanding of mobile device architecture and hands-on experience with physical device testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a solid grasp of debugging and root cause analysis in mobile test environments.
  • Ability to travel for business as needed.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience with BDD (Behavior Driven Development) approach.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based mobile testing platforms like Sauce Labs.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in the Financial or Banking domain is a plus.

Eligibility Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Willingness to undergo a drug test and background investigation.
  • Must meet the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required, and we cannot sponsor employment visas for this position.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is $85,000 annually, with eligibility for an annual bonus based on performance. Actual compensation will be determined by experience and skill level.
