We are looking for a Product Manager/Business Analyst to drive the development of mobile and web applications tailored for retail and professional investors. This role bridges business needs and technology, ensuring secure, high-performing solutions that align with user requirements and industry standards. The successful candidate will actively collaborate with stakeholders, designers, and developers to deliver impactful digital products.
Role Overview
This position involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of client-facing applications, from concept to implementation. You will take charge of defining product strategies, managing delivery timelines, and contributing to the technical aspects of the development process. Depending on expertise, the role can be adapted to focus more on project leadership or technical development.
What You’ll Be Doing
Product and User Experience
- Shape application strategies and define roadmaps that align with business objectives and compliance needs.
- Analyze user demands, market trends, and industry benchmarks to improve product features and usability.
- Develop comprehensive product documentation, such as workflows, specifications, and prototypes for core features like trading, market data, account services, and research tools.
- Continuously monitor product performance and user behavior to identify opportunities for improvement.
Project Management
- Oversee the delivery of technology projects, ensuring milestones, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and ensure timely execution.
- Maintain transparency with stakeholders through regular updates on project progress and anticipated risks.
Technical Collaboration
- Work alongside developers to design and refine technical solutions that meet product goals.
- Contribute to application development where needed, leveraging expertise in mobile (e.g., Kotlin/Swift) and web (e.g., React/Vue.js) technologies.
- Support technical processes such as architecture design, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization.
What We’re Looking For
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 2–5 years of experience in mobile app technology delivery, ideally in securities, wealth management, or trading systems.
- Strong technical skills, including familiarity with programming languages like JavaScript, Kotlin, or Swift.
- Proficient in creating product documentation and prototypes using tools such as Axure, Visio, or Mockplus.
- Sharp analytical abilities to decode complex processes and translate them into intuitive product functions.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multi-department collaboration.
- Fluent in Mandarin
Nice-to-Haves
- Hands-on experience with mobile or web app development, including debugging and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with modern UI frameworks like Flutter, SwiftUI, or Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, testing, and deployment pipelines.
