Multi-Site Plant Director - Electronic Components & Products
Location:
Multiple sites across the US (must be open to travel)
Compensation:
$200,000 to $250,000 basic salary + bonus
Irving Knight are partnered with a global manufacturer of electronic components seeking a Multi-Site Plant Director to oversee plant operations and continuous improvement initiatives across 3 sites in the US reporting to their Vice President of Operations
Job Overview:
- Standardize and optimize operations across 3 manufacturing sites ensuring achievement of performance targets in safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and productivity
- Oversee manufacturing processes related to electronic components, including assembly, testing, inspection, automation, and continuous flow operations
- Build a high-performing team and directly manage 3 plant managers
- Improve plant performance through Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and root cause corrective action methodologies
- Lead efforts to improve yield, scrap reduction, OEE, FPY, and on-time delivery
- Ensure all plants operate in compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory, customer, and industry requirements
- Own and manage operational budgets, capital plans, and cost improvement initiatives across multiple sites
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Must have multi-site plant leadership experience or managing large-scale operations
- Must have experience in electronic component manufacturing
- Experience with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt highly preferred
