Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on shipboard electronics to ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and SOLAS regulations.
- Installation & Commissioning: Install and configure navigation and communication systems, including Radar, ECDIS, Gyro Compass, AIS, VDR, and GMDSS equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electronic faults in communication suites (VHF/MF/HF, VSAT) and navigation aids.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work complies with IMO, Flag State, and Class Society regulations.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed service reports, job completion certificates, and technical reports.
- Support: Provide on-call support for emergency breakdowns, both locally and regionally.
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
