The opportunity

Join our dynamic team as a Senior in Technology and Product Management, where you will contribute to the delivery of one or more products, accountable for meeting team targets, coordinating junior colleagues or team members and meeting performance objectives and metrics set locally. Your role will involve supporting both technical and cross-functional teams to develop and implement cutting-edge technology solutions or infrastructure enhancements.

As a Senior Business Product Owner, you will be at the forefront of driving technology transformation projects and programs that align with our organizational strategy to achieve remarkable outcomes. You will provide assurance to leadership by adeptly managing timelines, costs, and quality, and lead both technical and non-technical project teams in developing and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions and infrastructure.

Your key responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the delivery of processes, solutions, and projects, applying your judgment and selecting appropriate methodologies to inform recommendations. You will be accountable for meeting targets that impact the immediate team and may also coordinate the work of junior colleagues. Expect to engage with external clients regularly, actively participating in client working sessions and possibly leading teams. Travel may be required as needed by external clients.

  • Decisions are based on broad policies, personal knowledge/experience, and precedents.
  • May work on complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Implements procedures and guidelines to resolve issues.
  • Support product backlog activities by defining product roadmaps, managing the product backlog, and helping run agile sprint cadences in cross-functional teams.
  • Assist with product testing by developing test plans, recruiting participants, and analysing test results.
  • Gather and analyse user feedback to identify areas for improvement and inform product iterations.
  • Assist with product launch activities by creating marketing materials, supporting go-to-market strategies, and supporting product pitch activities.
  • Track and monitor product performance metrics and create reports for stakeholders.
  • Maintain product documentation and knowledge base.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required ideally in computer science, business, or similar fields of study
  • Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years of relevant experience as a Product Manager or similar role in tech or consulting companies
