Position Overview

Join our team at Helen of Troy and make an immediate impact on our trusted brands such as OXO, Hydro Flask, Osprey, Honeywell, PUR, Braun, Vicks, Hot Tools, Drybar, Curlsmith, Revlon, and Olive & June. As the O&J - Data Analytics Manager within the Finance department and Business Unit Olive & June, you will lead data management and analytics initiatives across the organization. Based in Boston or California (100% Remote), you will manage the end-to-end data lifecycle—from data ingestion and transformation to reporting and advanced analytics—while collaborating with sales, supply chain, finance, marketing, and e-commerce teams to ensure data is trusted and actionable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of data sources and ETL pipelines (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, Retail POS, Fivetran) to ensure data quality, integrity, and timeliness.
  • Manage data architecture and optimize data warehouse performance (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Ensure proper governance, documentation, and best practices for data handling.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business decisions.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for key stakeholders.
  • Design and evaluate KPIs, forecasts, and models to support strategic initiatives.
  • Translate complex data topics for cross-functional teams and act as a liaison by partnering with sales, finance, marketing, and operations.
  • Lead ad hoc analyses to support product launches, marketing campaigns, and retail expansion.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics roles—ideally within a CPG, eCommerce, or high-growth startup environment.
  • Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and automation.
  • Experience working with retail, eCommerce, and marketing data from multiple sources (e.g., Amazon, Shopify, Nielsen/IRI, Meta/Google Ads).
  • Proven ability to design clear and impactful dashboards and reports, with strong data visualization and storytelling skills.
  • Strong business acumen with excellent problem-solving and effective communication skills.
  • Self-starter attitude with a bias toward action, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Authorized to work full-time in the United States.

  • Compensation: Base pay range in California and Boston is $95,625.01 to $159,559.47 annually (actual salary varies based on location, experience, skill level, and performance).
