Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Design & Test Engineer to support the development, testing, and validation of engineering systems. The role involves creating design documentation, developing test procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Document engineering solutions, system designs, and technical specifications
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test procedures for electrical systems
- Prepare and present technical design reviews to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support program/project plans and ensure alignment with key stakeholders
- Apply lessons learned to continuously improve testing processes and procedures
- Support the development, review, and approval of estimates and technical proposals
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical design
- Proficiency with drafting and design tools such as MS Visio and Zuken
- Working knowledge of instrumentation, sensors, and data acquisition systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Understanding of electromagnetic interference (EMI) principles
- Experience with wire installation and wire harness design
- Ability to analyze and interpret measurement data
- Knowledge of PLC systems and closed-loop control systems
- Basic understanding of hydraulic systems
- Exposure to system engineering concepts
- Familiarity with LabVIEW and National Instruments (NI) hardware
