Operations Analyst, Prop Trading Firm

Job Responsibilities

• Handle trade reconciliation, settlement tasks, and other operational duties to ensure all processes are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Use internal platforms and online systems to efficiently oversee and execute operational workflows.
• Maintain and update client information along with internal system databases.
• Oversee and coordinate the operational due diligence process.
• Support the team with various account opening procedures.
• Work closely with colleagues on daily operational activities and contribute to refining workflows.
• Spot areas where processes can be improved to boost accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Raise issues promptly and assist in shaping robust operational best practices.
• Report directly to the Head of Operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Sciences, or a related discipline; motivated fresh graduates are welcome.
• 1-3 years of experience in operations or trade processing within the financial industry or a financial services organization.
• Solid understanding of financial products, with exposure to fintech or traditional finance considered an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Highly detail‑oriented with a strong awareness of risk control.
• Strong communication abilities, collaborative mindset, and a proactive, positive attitude.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
