Role Summary
This role supports the Director of Operations in building, stabilizing, and scaling production systems. The Operations/Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for driving process improvements across manufacturing and supply chain, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, quality, and flow. This position bridges production, logistics, and continuous improvement to ensure a safe, structured, and high-performing operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize warehouse and production layouts
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiency
- Support and enforce safety standards, hazard identification, and risk mitigation practices
- Develop, document, and maintain SOPs and standardized work instructions
- Analyze and improve material flow, staging, and inventory systems
- Support capacity planning and production scheduling to meet demand
- Collect, track, and analyze takt time and operational performance metrics
- Lead cross-functional operational and process improvement projects
- Improve shipping, receiving, and logistics processes
- Partner with production teams to reduce defects and improve quality outcomes
- Support SQDIP metrics tracking and daily operational reviews
- Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions to improve throughput
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or supply chain environments
- Strong understanding of safety standards and industrial workplace safety practices
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Leadership skills: Experience leading, coaching and developing own team
- Experience with data analysis, KPIs, and performance tracking

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: Competitive Base Pay of $100,000 Per Year + Performance Bonus – Bonus based on top line and gross margin expectations + Commission opportunity.
