The Community you will join:

As a Partner to the Tour de France, Airbnb is looking to hire a Partners Operation Manager to support onsite activations on the wake of this major event and explore additional lower scale partnerships to support Airbnb business in 2026.

You will join a cross-functional team composed of Business Operations, Partnership, Experiences, Marketing, Communications and Events. As the main point of contact for all activation onsite, you will sync with internal and external partners to ensure a smooth delivery of all operations. You will also represent Airbnb on the ground and drive top of the art executions of Airbnb experiences crafted for the Tour.

 

Key Responsibilities

Tour de France (80%)

Lead and oversee the end-to-end production process of experience or onsite activation projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality execution from pre-production planning to final delivery at scale

Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and key stakeholders to build the customer experience to deliver excellence in line with our vision and strategy

Work autonomously to develop all experience assets, for pre-production and on-site operations

Prepare reports for management, detailing program specifics, learnings and insights

Be able to think outside the box work on own initiative and develop ways of working to allow for successful execution

Be present on the ground to ensure Airbnb strong visibility and flawless experience execution, partnering and managing agencies and operators.

Other partnerships (20%)

Develop recommendation and frame for scale events partnerships within Airbnb. Advise other markets and central teams on how to setup high standard operations around events.

Manage daily operations with existing distribution partners (contract, implementation, measurement)

Map and size other distribution partners relevant to Airbnb, around retail, transportation, culture…

 Ability to travel as needed, mainly domestically (up to 50% of the time, with high presence required during the Tour de France dates in July).

Your expertise:

8+ years of experience producing projects, brand activations, events and experiences

Ability to create and drive schedules, budgets, scope documents, and deliverables

Experience managing agency, partner, and vendor relationships

Experience working across various levels of the organization

Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal form, and tailor messages to diverse audiences

Exceptional stakeholder management skills to create trust‑based relationships with all stakeholders to ensure work is delivered on time and efficiently.

Excellent organization, prioritization, and decision-making skills with an ability to set priorities, problem-solve, and work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment

You are inherently curious, creative and excited by the prospect of building things from scratch

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of advertising, technology, marketing, and media landscapes

Knowledge of Tour de France or other large, multi-day, travelling event

Skilled in designing and delivering presentations across various levels of the organization

Experience in a startup or 0-1 environment

Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)

How We'll Take Care of You:

The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range shown below is annualized, is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
