We are a staffing agency recruiting on behalf of a growing functional medicine and primary care practice seeking a compassionate and highly organized Patient Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Communication
Answer incoming patient phone calls in a professional and empathetic manner
Respond promptly to patient text messages and general inquiries
Manage inbound faxes and route documentation appropriately
Provide patients with scheduling assistance and general practice information
Deliver an outstanding patient experience across all communication channels
Administrative Support
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
Maintain and update patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Upload and organize clinical documentation and laboratory results
Support providers with day-to-day administrative tasks
Ensure all documentation is accurate and completed in a timely manner
Practice Operations
Monitor communication queues and ensure timely responses
Assist in maintaining efficient administrative workflows
Coordinate internally with the clinical team to support patient care
Help identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency as the practice grows
Required Qualifications
Previous experience in a U.S. medical office, healthcare administration, or patient coordination role
Excellent spoken and written English with a clear, professional telephone manner
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
Experience handling patient phone calls and appointment scheduling
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in functional medicine, primary care, concierge medicine, or specialty medical practices
Familiarity with Cerbo EMR, Spruce, or similar healthcare software
Experience coordinating patient communications across phone, text, and email
Prior remote healthcare support experience
