Role
We are hiring a high-performance, operations-minded individual passionate about e-commerce to lead payment operations and risk across a complex, multi-partner environment.
This role goes beyond execution. You will be expected to own transaction performance, financial integrity, and risk outcomes end-to-end — with the ability to independently investigate issues, challenge assumptions, drive resolution, and support product adoption outcomes.
Role Description
- Own end-to-end payment operations, including transaction monitoring, performance optimization, and incident response
- Lead financial reconciliation with zero tolerance for discrepancies, ensuring full alignment across transaction, settlement, and reporting layers
- Conduct deep investigations into e-commerce discrepancies, delivering clear root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective controls
- Monitor and interpret risk signals and behavioral anomalies, proactively identifying issues before escalation
- Manage disputes and chargebacks, providing structured guidance on high-quality documentation and representment strategy
- Produce data-driven insights that directly improve success rates, reduce losses, and enhance operational efficiency
- Act as the primary interface with payment partners, handling escalations with a fact-based and assertive approach
Qualifications
- Excellent English and Arabic communication skills (written and spoken), with strong stakeholder management capabilities across internal and external teams
- Strong knowledge of online payment operations, risk management, and financial services compliance
- Expertise in payment workflows, reconciliation processes, settlement operations, and cash flow management
- Proficiency in data analysis, fraud monitoring, and building risk management frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure
- Familiarity with AI-driven tools or technologies related to financial operations is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in payment operations, fintech, e-commerce risk, or financial operations
- Understanding of the MENA banking and e-commerce landscape is advantageous
Requirements
- Fluent in Arabic and English (read, write & spoken)
- Must already reside in Dubai and be able to commute to Business Bay
- Must be available to join immediately or within 2 weeks
- Candidates with notice periods longer than 2 weeks will not be considered
