We are seeking a skilled Information Security / Cybersecurity / Penetration Testing Specialist to strengthen our security posture and protect our systems, networks, and data. This role combines defensive security, vulnerability assessment, and hands-on penetration testing to identify and mitigate cyber risks across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform penetration testing (network, web application, API, cloud, and infrastructure) to identify security weaknesses
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and risk analysis
- Analyse findings, prepare clear technical and executive-level reports, and provide remediation recommendations
- Support incident response, threat investigation, and post-incident analysis
- Implement and monitor security controls, tools, and best practices
- Collaborate with IT, development, and risk teams to embed security into system design and SDLC
- Stay current with emerging threats, attack techniques, and security technologies
- Assist with compliance and security standards
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- 2-6+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or penetration testing
- Hands-on experience with penetration testing and security tools (e.g. Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, Nmap, Kali Linux)
- Ability to clearly communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISA
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with scripting or programming (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
