People Analytics Consultant

Contract through January 2027 (eligible for extension/conversion)

Location: Hybrid in Pittsburgh PA, San Francisco CA, or Mountain View CA.

The People Analytics team is responsible for measuring people initiatives and guiding strategic business decisions with (people) data & insights.

In this role, you will

• Partner with people leaders and business stakeholders to surface insights that address time-sensitive people challenges and inform high-stakes decisions
• Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytic approaches, testing hypotheses through ad-hoc analyses across hiring, retention, performance, engagement, culture, and workforce planning decisions
• Deliver clear, decision-ready analyses and narratives for leadership meetings, board prep, and executive reviews
• Prototype innovative insights, metrics, and analytical approaches in response to emergent needs, and identify opportunities to evolve the core people analytics platform
• Design, deploy, and analyze employee surveys (e.g. performance, lifecycle, engagement), identifying key signals and themes that inform action
• Apply rigorous data validation and judgment to ensure accuracy, integrity, and responsible use of people data, in alignment with privacy and confidentiality standards

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with people data in an applied setting
• Strong proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (eg Tableau, PowerBI) or people analytics software (eg Visier, OneModel, Crunchr)
• Experience with People systems (e.g. Workday, Greenhouse) and survey platforms (e.g. Culture Amp, Qualtrics)
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into compelling insights for a wide range of stakeholders
• Working understanding of statistical concepts and techniques (e.g. regression, cluster analysis, hypothesis testing, longitudinal methods, etc)
• Natural curiosity and bias toward innovative solutions

Pay range is $50/hr - $60/hr with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
