Job Description

JOIN THE TILT TEAM

At Tilt, we see a side of people that traditional lenders miss. Our mobile-first products and machine learning-powered credit models look beyond credit scores, using over 250 real-time financial signals to recognize real potential. With millions of customers worldwide, we're not just changing how people access financial products — we're creating a new credit system that backs the working, whatever they're working toward.

México https://empowerapp.mx/ was Tilt’s first market outside the US. Launched in 2022, we’ve already helped thousands of customers access fair credit in moments of need — using alternative data and technology to serve those often overlooked by traditional lenders. We’re scaling rapidly and preparing to launch new products that will expand our reach and deepen our impact across the country.

THE OPPORTUNITY: PERFORMANCE MARKETING MANAGER

We are seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to scale our mobile acquisition engine in Mexico. We've already built a live, growing business - and we're investing significantly to accelerate it. This role is responsible for deploying, measuring, and optimizing a multimillion-dollar advertising budget across channels such as Meta, Google App Campaigns, and DSPs.

This role sits at the intersection of analytics, strategy, and execution. You will operate as both a hands-on media buyer and a highly analytical problem solver, owning performance end-to-end, from campaign setup to deep funnel optimization.

As the first dedicated performance marketing hire on Mexico, you'll partner with our existing agency while progressively bringing knowledge and capabilities in-house - with real traction already behind you and a mandate to push it much further.

This is a remote role with a preference for individuals based in México or in a similar time zone. Occasional travel will be required for company onsites and market visits (minimum 4-6 times per year).

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Own paid acquisition end-to-end across mobile channels (Meta, Google App Campaigns, DSPs, and others), including campaign setup, optimization, and scaling.
  • Own and mature the performance marketing function - building out processes, reporting, and experimentation frameworks on top of an already-live, scaling business.
  • Manage and develop our agency relationship, extracting knowledge, building internal capabilities, and progressively owning more of the execution in-house.
  • Optimize for full-funnel performance, from impression to repayment behavior - improving CAC, conversion rates, and LTV.
  • Design and run rigorous experiments (A/B tests, incrementality tests, creative testing) to continuously improve performance, even in low-signal environments.
  • Allocate and optimize budget dynamically based on performance, risk, and business priorities.
  • Drive creative strategy and iteration, translating performance data into actionable insights on messaging, formats, and audiences.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Risk, Analytics, and Design to improve targeting, onboarding flows, and conversion.
  • Own mobile attribution and measurement, working with tools like AppsFlyer/Adjust and navigating signal loss (e.g., SKAN, privacy changes).
  • Develop deep expertise in the Mexico market - including channel dynamics, user behavior, payment patterns, and regulatory considerations - and use it to inform strategy.

WHY YOU'RE A GREAT FIT

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience in mobile performance marketing, with ownership of campaign performance.
  • Proven track record managing and scaling app acquisition campaigns on platforms like Meta, Google App Campaigns, or DSPs.
  • Experience optimizing beyond installs, using downstream metrics (e.g., activation, conversion, revenue, LTV) to drive decisions.
  • Familiarity with mobile attribution tools (e.g., AppsFlyer) and challenges related to signal loss (e.g., SKAN).
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to connect marketing performance to business outcomes (CAC, LTV, payback).
  • Experience working with SQL to analyze performance and generate insights independently.
  • High level of ownership and comfort with ambiguity - able to build structure and drive results in a fast-scaling environment.
  • Strong communication skills; able to influence cross-functional stakeholders with data.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in FinTech, lending, or credit-focused businesses
  • Experience in Mexico or other emerging markets
  • Experience with incrementality testing
  • Familiarity with creative strategy at scale (UGC, iteration frameworks)
  • Experience with DSPs and programmatic buying
  • Experience optimizing for down-funnel outcomes such as approvals and repayment behavior

Don’t meet every qualification? We care about potential over your past. If you're bringing ambition and drive to what we're building, we want to hear from you.
