Pay Transparency Statement:

The compensation philosophy is devised in consideration of several factors. These include skillset, experience, and education, as well as other operational needs. The decision to participate in the discretionary incentive program is also based on the rules governing the program.

Position Summary:

In order to support production plans for the plant, the Plant Maintenance Manager plays a leadership role and provides guidance for the maintenance team. The primary objective is to optimize asset utilization, minimize downtime, increase productivity, and establish effective maintenance and reliability improvement processes. The Maintenance Manager designs and leads preventive/predictive maintenance programs and performs evaluation of failures and root cause assessments.

This job involves a multitude of responsibilities, including but not limited to the ones outlined in the job description:

  • Ensures that all policies and procedures are followed by the maintenance department.
  • Leads the maintenance team by hiring competent staff, supervising performance, providing personal growth opportunities, and staying aware of technical advancements.
  • It is imperative to maintain and care for all equipment, buildings, and grounds to align with the company's high-level standards.
  • Ensures that all plant customers receive quality maintenance support, addressing their concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • We ensure that repairs and service calls on machinery are carried out in a timely fashion.
  • Responsible for controlling the budget for the Maintenance and Repair Department, monitoring and managing all expense centers, including building-related costs, parts acquisition expenditures, outside services, and personnel expenses.
  • Executes capital projects within the plant.
  • The search for techniques to cut down on utility usage persists.
  • Assists mechanics in identifying and resolving machine issues.
  • Drives reduction of losses through efficient breakdown analysis.
  • Oversees the acquisition of all necessary parts and ensures optimal stockroom management that caters to the repair needs of vital process equipment and necessary plant consumables.
  • Maintains adherence to OSHA regulations by actively participating in the EHS program, which includes weekly safety meetings, shop safety inspections, and strict enforcement of the lock-out/tag-out program.
  • Other tasks or duties as directed.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders:

  • No matter what your educational background is, it's never too late to get your high school diploma or a GED and improve your career opportunities.
  • Applicants must demonstrate a history of at least nine years of technical, mechanical, maintenance, or engineering experience to be considered.
