Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform regular inspection, servicing, and maintenance of equipment including motors, pumps, transmission systems, and production machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect and assess the functionality and condition of production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical and electrical breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and safety checks.
- Manage and execute outsourced service contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and service standards.
- Liaise closely with the production team to support operations and maintain a safe, clean working environment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Support and contribute to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
- Perform installation, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for industrial automation (preferred).
- Carry out any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with industrial equipment and production machinery.
- Experience with PLC systems (installation, programming, troubleshooting) is an advantage.
- Familiar with local HSE regulations and safety standards.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
- Able to work overtime and be on 24/7 standby for emergency call-outs when required.
- Possess good project coordination or management skills is a plus.
