Key Responsibilities:
- Understand factors impacting portfolio returns over time
- Monitor intra-day market movements in real time
- Estimate potential losses under extreme market conditions using stochastic risk analysis to generate new trading ideas
- Take ownership of the full development cycle and collaborate with the team on design and implementation
- Partner with clients and other developers to design, build, and roll out solutions that optimize complex workflows
- Explore new technologies from AWS, Google and similar tech partners to determine their potential to improve product speed, stability, and performance
- Work collaboratively as a team—mentoring and learning from colleagues to break down knowledge silos and ensure the delivery of reliable, well-documented, and well-understood products for clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, or other quantitative and programming intensive courses
- 1 year of relevant working experience and a Fresh graduate is welcome
- Experience in high-performance SaaS systems
- Knowledge in quantitative modelling is advantageous
- Knowledge in production quality control is advantageous
- Business-level English proficiency
- Interest in working with large data-sets and an aptitude for analytical problem solving
- Interest in understanding our complex products and processes and have a passion for pushing boundaries with technology
- Occasional travel to Mainland China or overseas may be required
Remuneration will be commensurate with work experience. There will be a 30-day probation period, along with hands-on trials that may include a short project or similar problem-solving exercises to test proficiency.
