Job Description

Join a premier institutional value manager as the primary architect of their portfolio analytics and global compliance framework. This high-visibility role positions you as the firm’s definitive subject matter expert, bridging the gap between sophisticated fundamental research and complex performance attribution. You will lead the integrity of reporting across a vast array of discretionary accounts, collaborating directly with senior portfolio management to drive transparency and analytical precision. It is an ideal move for a performance specialist looking to own the reporting lifecycle within a top-tier, research-driven investment house.

Job Function:

Lead the integrity of daily return calculations and multi-asset composite reporting for a massive institutional portfolio, ensuring precise data reconciliation and valuation accuracy.

Act as the firm’s primary authority on Global Investment Performance Standards, managing everything from composite construction and mandate alignment to the annual external verification process.

Utilize sophisticated factor and sector-based models to deconstruct performance drivers, providing the "why" behind the returns for both internal investment teams and external stakeholders.

Drive the firm’s pricing integrity by overseeing security valuation exceptions and contributing expert insight to the internal Pricing Committee.

Partner with marketing and client service teams to translate complex performance data into bespoke reporting and high-stakes RFP responses for sophisticated institutional consultants.

Job Requirements:

6-12+ years of progressive leadership within institutional performance measurement, specifically within a large-scale asset management environment.

Expert-level command of GIPS® protocols, with a proven track record of managing composite construction and leading full-cycle annual verification engagements.

Sophisticated understanding of time-weighted and daily return methodologies, alongside deep experience utilizing enterprise-grade attribution and portfolio accounting platforms.

Advanced proficiency in Excel for complex data modeling, coupled with experience in Enterprise Data Management (EDM) tools and a forward-thinking approach to leveraging AI for workflow optimization.

A degree in a quantitative or financial field (Finance, Math, Economics) is required; professional designations such as the CIPM or CFA (or active candidacy) are highly preferred.
