We are in search of a Portfolio Strategy Manager to join the Commercial Real Estate Group (CREG) and take on responsibilities such as assessing, monitoring credit, and managing portfolios that include acquisition, value-add/bridge, and construction loans for all types of assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the RM to organize, evaluate, and manage loans for commercial real estate properties that are not owner-occupied, following the Bank's specified guidelines and policies.
  • Provide essential support to the Relationship Manager by connecting with clients, legal counsel, and internal teams, improving communication flow and coordination across various departments.
  • Assessing and creating preliminary review briefs, official loan approval letters, modifications, yearly reviews, and alterations in risk analysis.
  • The continuous management of portfolios involves overseeing financial statements, ensuring covenant adherence, and evaluating and modifying risk ratings when required.
  • Comply with the Bank's regulatory and credit guidelines.
  • Undertake supplementary administrative tasks and special projects to support the maintenance of clients.

Qualifications:

  • The position calls for a bachelor's degree or a combination of education and closely related experience.
  • The ideal candidate should possess between five and ten years of experience in the commercial banking sector, with at least two years of direct involvement in managing commercial real estate portfolios.
  • Proficient underwriting, Excel formulation, and adept business communication capabilities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Skill in the analysis of personal, corporate, and fund financial statements.
  • Skilled in interpreting credit policy and procedures and adept at evaluating the risk factor of loans/credits accurately.
  • Implement measures to resolve issues with problem loan credits.
  • Possesses a strong grasp of treasury operations and derivative instruments, demonstrating the finesse in coordinating the Bank's resources to provide effective full-suite solutions to the company.
