POS Developer - Java/Kotlin Development

Role Responsibilities:

• 2+ years of professional experience with Android SDK and Java/Kotlin development.

• Good knowledge of Kotlin or published apps written in Kotlin.

• Hands-on experience in Android gradle settings & libraries.

• Strong understanding of POS application concepts across various android POS/SoftPOS machines such as VeriFone, Ingenico, XAC, PAX, Ezzetab, etc.

• Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment.

• Proficient in writing clean and testable code alongside unit tests.

• Familiar with Android Studio, Git, Bitbucket, Ansible, Artifactory, RxJava, Dagger 2, Retrofit.

• Hands-on experience with distributed messaging and push notification services.

• Experience in a Linux environment and shell scripting.

• Knowledgeable in DBMS/RDBMS, OOP, SOA, WPF, WCF, and Web services.

• Desire to improve current development processes and code architecture.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Language Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of English.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with payment transactions, online processing, and batch processing concepts.

• Knowledge of MySQL and MongoDB databases.
