We are seeking highly motivated, dynamic, and academically outstanding Post-doctoral Fellow(s) to join our interdisciplinary team. This role focuses on the research and development of AI algorithms and navigation systems for next-generation construction robotics.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct innovative research in AI algorithms (e.g., computer vision, machine learning, reinforcement learning) and navigation systems (e.g., SLAM, path planning, multi-robot coordination) tailored for construction robotics applications.
- Design, develop, and prototype robotic systems and algorithms for real-world deployment in dynamic and unstructured construction environments.
- Collaborate closely with academic and industry partners to translate research into practical solutions and demonstratable prototypes.
- Publish high-impact research in top-tier journals and conferences, and actively participate in knowledge dissemination and grant writing.
Qualifications
- A Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Strong background in AI/ML methods and/or robotic navigation, perception, or control.
- Hands-on experience with robotic systems, simulators (e.g., ROS/ROS2, Gazebo), and programming (Python, C++).
- Proven track record of research excellence through publications in relevant venues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
- Self-driven, curious, and eager to tackle open-ended challenges in robotics and AI.
