Power BI Developer / Data Integration Architect

We are seeking a hands-on Power BI Developer with strong report development expertise and experience working within a Microsoft Azure and Synapse Analytics environment. This role will be responsible for designing and developing scalable reporting solutions, integrating data from enterprise data platforms, and contributing to the architecture and design of data flows across multiple systems.

The ideal candidate will combine deep Power BI development skills with a strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration best practices. This role will spend approximately 70% of the time focused on development and 30% on design and architecture responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders

Build robust reporting solutions using data sourced from Azure Synapse, enterprise data warehouses, and data marts

Understand and integrate data flows between backend systems, reference data marts, and reporting platforms

Collaborate with internal teams to architect and optimize data movement from the Profisee backend into a reference data mart environment

Participate in the design and architecture of ETL and data integration solutions

Work with ETL technologies including SSIS, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and MuleSoft

Evaluate and contribute to integration design approaches, including potential use of Profisee ETL capabilities

Support data modeling activities and maintain data structures using ERwin or similar modeling tools

Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, performance optimization, and reporting best practices across all deliverables

Required Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations

Experience working within Microsoft Azure and Azure Synapse Analytics environments

Strong understanding of enterprise data warehouses, data marts, and data integration concepts

Experience designing and supporting ETL/data pipeline solutions

Hands-on experience with SSIS and/or Azure Data Factory (ADF)

Familiarity with MuleSoft integrations

Understanding of data flow architecture and reference data management concepts

Experience with data modeling and ERwin (Irwin) or similar data modeling tools

Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational database structures

Ability to balance hands-on development work with solution design and architectural responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to Profisee or other Master Data Management (MDM) platforms

Experience working in enterprise-scale BI and analytics environments

Knowledge of reporting performance tuning and data governance best practices
