Job Description

This role offers the chance to develop and refine high‑performance power electronics used in demanding applications. You’ll work hands‑on with advanced circuit designs, guide product improvements, and collaborate across engineering teams to bring reliable, high‑quality technology to market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of high‑frequency power conversion circuits, from early prototype evaluation through production release.
  • Build and validate experimental circuit configurations, conducting in‑depth electrical testing to assess functionality, reliability, and safety.
  • Perform technical investigations and component‑level failure analysis using various diagnostic and analytical techniques.
  • Develop and maintain full engineering documentation including test specifications, bills of materials, schematics, and PCB design packages.
  • Drive product improvements across existing lines by partnering with manufacturing, applications engineering, sales, and quality teams.
  • Establish test strategies, qualification plans, and engineering schedules to support product introduction and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering;

Master’s degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of professional experience designing switch‑mode power supplies or related high‑frequency conversion systems.
  • Strong understanding of magnetic design principles, power electronics topologies, feedback control, and EMC considerations.
  • Proficiency with circuit simulation and modeling tools (e.g., SPICE‑based platforms, math‑based analysis tools).
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate components, validate circuitry, and interpret experimental data with technical rigor.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to contribute both independently and in cross‑functional settings.
  • Familiarity with firmware development is considered an advantage.
