Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Power System Automation Engineer located in Evanston, IL. The Power System Automation Engineer will conduct power system studies, design safe and efficient electrical systems, and oversee the implementation and maintenance of power systems. The role involves analysis of power generation and electric power systems to ensure performance optimization and compliance with applicable regulations. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Power System Studies and Power Systems analysis
• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering principles
• Experience with Power Generation systems and Electric Power networks
• Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot power system automation solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field required
• Master's degree or additional certifications related to power systems is a plus
• Familiarity with Web3 technologies and blockchain is advantageous
