Role Overview

We are recruiting for a Power BI-focused role within an insurance organisation, supporting the delivery of high-quality reporting and data insights across the business. The position will involve working closely with systems and data analysts to map out data requirements, design data models, and deliver meaningful dashboards and analytics.

The role will suit someone comfortable working across data modelling, analysis, and stakeholder collaboration, with exposure to Azure technologies including Logic Apps. We are considering candidates at both junior and senior levels, with responsibilities scaling based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders
• Build and maintain robust data models to support reporting and analytics
• Work closely with systems and data analysts to map out data flows and requirements
• Translate business needs into technical reporting solutions
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights
• Support data integration processes, including exposure to Azure Logic Apps
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reporting outputs
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting and analytics capabilities

Key Experience

• Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI
• Strong data modelling experience (star schema, relationships, DAX preferred)
• Background in data analysis and interpreting business requirements
• Experience working with systems/data analysts or cross-functional teams
• Exposure to Azure technologies, ideally Azure Logic Apps
• Good stakeholder communication skills
• SQL knowledge beneficial
• Experience within insurance or financial services (desirable but not essential)
