GLOBAL PAYROLL SOLUTIONS

THE ROLE

As a Presales Delivery Consultant within Deel’s Global Payroll Solutions organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring our global payroll customers transition from Sales to Implementation with clarity, confidence, and delivery readiness.

Reporting to the Director of Pre-Sales Delivery, you will lead in-depth payroll discovery and readiness validation for Mid-Market and Enterprise customers, ensuring that Onboarding Managers (OBMs) and Project Managers (PMs) receive a complete and accurate view of each client’s payroll landscape.

You will also support Sales on complex opportunities by providing payroll and implementation expertise, helping set realistic expectations and ensuring that what is sold can be delivered successfully.

This role sits at the heart of Deel’s Sales-to-Delivery motion, protecting customer experience, accelerating time-to-value, and enabling scalable global payroll growth.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

PAYROLL DISCOVERY & READINESS

• Lead detailed payroll discovery sessions with prospective and newly signed customers

• Gather and document country scope, payroll populations, local processes, pay frequencies, benefits, statutory obligations, and integrations

• Identify operational, compliance, and product risks early in the customer journey

• Validate feasibility of scope, timelines, and rollout approaches

• Prepare and advise of go live dates and roll out plans.

SALES TO IMPLEMENTATION HANDOVER

• Create comprehensive, delivery-ready handover packs for OBMs and PMs

• Ensure no loss of knowledge or scope between Sales and Implementation

• Clearly document payroll assumptions, risks, dependencies, and constraints

• Prevent late-stage surprises, re-discovery, and scope creep

SALES ENABLEMENT & DEAL SUPPORT

• Support Sales teams on complex global payroll opportunities by providing payroll and delivery expertise

• Join selected sales calls to validate scope, explain implementation requirements, and build client confidence

• Ensure customer expectations are aligned with delivery reality

SOLUTIONS & PAYROLL ENABLEMENT

• Run Country Spotlight and enablement sessions with Payroll Implementation teams

• Share country-specific complexity, risks, and best practices

• Feed discovery insights into Product, Implementation tooling, Sales enablement, and delivery methodology

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a delivery-minded payroll professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced, global environments and understands that successful payroll implementations begin with exceptional discovery.

YOU WILL BRING:

• 5+ years of experience in global payroll, payroll implementation, or payroll operations

• Strong understanding of multi-country payroll complexity and compliance

• Experience leading or supporting payroll discovery, onboarding, or implementation projects

• Ability to run structured, high-impact client discovery sessions

• Excellent documentation and handover discipline

• Confidence to raise risks and challenge assumptions constructively

• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Comfort working cross-functionally across Sales, Product, Payroll, and Implementation

• Experience using tools such as Salesforce, Notion, and project tracking tools

• Fluency in English (additional languages a plus)

En tant que Consultant(e) en livraison prévente au sein de l'organisation Solutions de paie mondiale de Deel, vous jouerez un rôle essentiel pour assurer la transition de nos clients en paie mondiale, de la Vente à la Mise en œuvre, avec clarté, confiance et une préparation à la livraison optimale.

Relevant du Directeur de la livraison prévente, vous dirigerez des séances approfondies de découverte et de validation de l'état de préparation en matière de paie pour les clients du marché intermédiaire et du marché Entreprise, en veillant à ce que les Gestionnaires d'intégration (OBM) et les Chefs de projet (PM) disposent d'une vue complète et précise du paysage de paie de chaque client.

Vous appuierez également l'équipe des Ventes dans le cadre d'opportunités complexes en apportant votre expertise en paie et en mise en œuvre, en contribuant à établir des attentes réalistes et en vous assurant que ce qui est vendu peut être livré avec succès.

Ce rôle est au cœur du processus Vente-Livraison de Deel, protégeant l'expérience client, accélérant le délai de mise en valeur et favorisant une croissance évolutive de la paie mondiale.

Découverte et préparation en matière de paie

• Diriger des séances détaillées de découverte de la paie avec les clients potentiels et les clients nouvellement signés

• Recueillir et documenter la portée par pays, les effectifs de paie, les processus locaux, les fréquences de paie, les avantages sociaux, les obligations légales et les intégrations

• Identifier les risques opérationnels, de conformité et de produit tôt dans le parcours client

• Valider la faisabilité de la portée, des échéanciers et des approches de déploiement

• Préparer et conseiller sur les dates de mise en service et les plans de déploiement

Transfert de la Vente à la Mise en œuvre

• Créer des dossiers de transfert complets et prêts à la livraison pour les OBM et les PM

• Assurer l'absence de perte de connaissances ou de portée entre les Ventes et la Mise en œuvre

• Documenter clairement les hypothèses, les risques, les dépendances et les contraintes liés à la paie

• Prévenir les surprises en phase avancée, la redécouverte et le dépassement de portée

Soutien aux ventes et aux opportunités
