About the Role

This opportunity is for a detail-oriented Pricing Analyst who will support consulting service offerings by reviewing, organizing, and analyzing large volumes of pricing data. The role focuses on client invoices, vendor proposals, pricing offers, service volumes, comparable vendor services, pricing trends, industry data, public reports, and internal business intelligence.

The Pricing Analyst will work directly with consultants and vendors to ensure pricing presentations are accurate, complete, and delivered on time. This role will also help identify effective negotiation strategies and support improvements to internal pricing tools, negotiation technology, and pricing databases.

Travel:

Limited travel required for company or department meetings 1 - 2 times per year

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze vendor pricing proposals and invoices to normalize pricing against current client expenses, competing vendor proposals, and other pricing data.
  • Review and validate proposal quotations for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Work with consultants to identify missing services, products, or pricing details in vendor proposals.
  • Assess and analyze data from multiple sources to understand current client pricing.
  • Advise consultants on comparable pricing from similar deals to help shape negotiation strategies.
  • Work with vendors and consultants to understand pricing structures, invoice attributes, service details, and proposal assumptions.
  • Prepare multi-year cost and pricing models for internal review and client use.
  • Build comparative pricing models based on project assumptions, service volumes, and vendor pricing data.
  • Capture, decompose, normalize, and analyze service costs from different data sources.
  • Maintain pricing project lists, pricing data, and related internal records.
  • Review price quotes and generate pricing reports.
  • Collaborate with peers and internal teams to improve pricing processes, internal tools, pricing technology, and client-facing templates.
  • Test processes and tools to improve accuracy, efficiency, and insight into pricing data.
  • Track vendor and project pricing information for review by Pricing and Product teams.
  • Collaborate with Product teams on dynamic pricing tools that respond to changing market needs and trends.
  • Prepare and present pricing analysis findings to consultants, project managers, leadership, and clients.
  • Stay informed on pricing analysis methods and industry trends.
  • Communicate relevant pricing updates and industry insights to internal teams.
  • Serve as a liaison to the Technology department to support improvements to internal pricing and negotiation systems.
  • Contribute to the accuracy and quality of data within the pricing database.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or at least 5 years of related work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pricing Analyst in a similar industry.
  • Strong financial modeling experience.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis.
  • Extensive experience analyzing pricing strategies.
  • Experience forecasting revenue and market share.
  • Experience collaborating on project teams.
  • Ability to stay current on industry trends.
  • Ability to contribute to the development of dynamic pricing tools.
  • Advanced ability to present pricing analysis reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to accuracy, quality, rigor, and consistency.
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented working style.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Compensation:

$82,000 - $111,000 per year, plus bonus
