Prime Finance - Lead Engineer

My client, a global player in the prime finance and lending landscape, is hiring a Lead Engineer to join their core team based here in Hong Kong. The Lead Engineer will be a key person in spear heading the platforms development to meet meet the growing business demand as well as lead a highly skilled team across the region. You'll be the platform's representativeand collaborate closely with front office stakeholders to work on and showcase it's continued growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the team to design and build a scalable prime finance trading system
• Take the lead for the architectural design and make decisions when needed
• Collaborate with front office stakeholders to work transparently on requirements and improvements
• Oversee that risk and controls are taken in consideration and work closely with respective teams
• Continue to review the design of the platform to identify opportunities for improvements.

Skills and Experience

• Strong experience in architectural design for distributed trading platforms
• Expert experience and knowledge of core, backend Java
• Experienced working in an Agile environment
