Collaborate with engineering teams to translate research prototypes into production-ready AI systems. Mentor and guide a team of AI researchers and engineers. Stay at the forefront of AI research trends, identifying new opportunities and potential breakthroughs. Represent the company at industry conferences and workshops. Secure intellectual property through patents. Contribute to the strategic direction of the company's AI initiatives. Qualifications: PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field. 10+ years of post-academic research experience in AI/ML. Demonstrated leadership in AI research with a strong publication record (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ACL). Expertise in one or more subfields of AI (NLP, Computer Vision, Robotics, Reinforcement Learning, etc.). Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and programming languages (e.g., Python). Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Proven ability to lead research teams and drive projects to completion. Experience with patent filing is a plus.
