Principal Data Platform Engineer

A company is looking for a Principal Data Platform Engineer to enhance data architecture and deliver SaaS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of a Medallion architecture on Azure Fabric

Develop and document code in Python / PySpark and SQL, adhering to DataOps best practices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-impact software while optimizing data performance

Required Qualifications

8-10 years of experience in designing and building scalable, data-centric applications

Hands-on experience with modern Data Lakehouse architectures, particularly Microsoft Fabric and Delta Lake

Proficiency in Python / PySpark, SQL, and Azure Data Factory

Experience in developing secure data pipelines that meet enterprise security standards

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
