Principal Electrical Engineer, Power Systems

Our client, a global leader in advanced semiconductor manufacturing, is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to join their esteemed R&D team. This critical role will focus on the design, development, and validation of cutting-edge power management systems for high-performance integrated circuits. You will lead complex projects from concept to production, taking ownership of the full engineering lifecycle. Responsibilities include defining system requirements, performing detailed circuit design and simulation using industry-standard tools (e.g., Cadence, SPICE), developing test plans, and overseeing board-level bring-up and validation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including digital design, layout, and firmware engineers, to ensure seamless integration of power solutions. Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the technical roadmap for power management technologies are also key aspects of this position. This role requires deep expertise in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, particularly in areas such as DC-DC converters, LDOs, battery charging ICs, and transient voltage suppressors. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication and leadership abilities, are essential. You must have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex power management solutions for semiconductor applications. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience, is required.
