Principal Industrial Engineer

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Principal Industrial Engineer to join their advanced manufacturing operations in **Dallas, Texas, US**. This senior role will spearhead the analysis, design, and improvement of complex industrial systems, processes, and manufacturing operations to maximize efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The Principal Industrial Engineer will lead initiatives in areas such as lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, capacity planning, workflow optimization, and facility layout design. You will be responsible for identifying operational bottlenecks, developing innovative solutions, and implementing best practices across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of production systems, supply chain logistics, and statistical process control. Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, conducting detailed time and motion studies, developing standard operating procedures, and creating sophisticated simulation models. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment. Proven expertise in Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma (Black Belt certification preferred), and advanced statistical analysis is essential. Strong proficiency in simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic) and CAD tools is highly desirable.
