Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative industrial engineering solutions to optimize manufacturing processes, workflow, and facility layouts. Apply advanced lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical process control to identify and eliminate waste, reduce costs, and improve quality. Conduct thorough time and motion studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. Develop and manage project plans for significant process improvement initiatives, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, operations, design engineering, and supply chain, to integrate engineering solutions seamlessly. Utilize simulation software and data analytics tools to model and evaluate proposed process changes, predict outcomes, and identify optimal solutions. Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and equipment specifications. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior industrial engineers and manufacturing personnel. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in industrial engineering, automation, and manufacturing to drive continuous improvement. Analyze manufacturing data to identify root causes of production issues and develop sustainable corrective actions. Contribute to the strategic planning process for manufacturing operations and capacity expansion. Qualifications: Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a significant plus. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with a strong focus on process optimization and manufacturing systems. Extensive experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt certification highly preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency in simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic) and advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP). Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain management, and factory automation. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive significant operational improvements. Experience working in a hybrid work model, balancing remote analysis with on-site implementation and collaboration. Professional Engineer (PE) license is a desirable asset.
