Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of optimized industrial processes and systems. Apply lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other continuous improvement tools to enhance productivity and quality. Conduct detailed analysis of operational data, identifying bottlenecks, waste, and areas for improvement. Develop and utilize simulation models to test process changes and predict operational outcomes. Design efficient factory layouts, material flow, and workstations to maximize space utilization and throughput. Develop and implement robust production planning and scheduling systems. Lead cross-functional teams in implementing process improvements and new technologies. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Train and mentor junior engineers and operational staff on best practices in industrial engineering. Evaluate new technologies and automation solutions to improve operational capabilities. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in all process designs. Qualifications:
Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field. A PhD is a plus. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with a strong focus on manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics operations. Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt certification preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency in simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic) and CAD tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills. Excellent leadership, project management, and communication abilities. Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization tools. Knowledge of supply chain management principles and operations research techniques. Familiarity with automation and robotics in manufacturing settings is highly desirable.
