This senior-level position is crucial for driving significant improvements in production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across various manufacturing lines. You will be responsible for leading complex projects focused on analyzing existing industrial processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing innovative solutions using lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and advanced data analytics. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the identification, analysis, and optimization of complex industrial manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Develop and implement strategic process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred), and Theory of Constraints. Utilize statistical analysis, simulation software, and data visualization tools to diagnose process issues and validate improvement solutions. Design and execute pilot studies and full-scale implementation plans for process changes. Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration of optimized processes. Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and establish monitoring systems to track process performance and sustain gains. Mentor and coach junior engineers and technical staff on process improvement techniques. Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and business cases for process optimization projects. Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and innovative approaches in industrial engineering and process optimization. Champion a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. Qualifications:
Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus. Minimum of 12 years of experience in industrial engineering, process improvement, or operations management, with a strong focus on optimization. Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (certification preferred), and statistical process control (SPC). Demonstrated success in leading and implementing large-scale process improvement projects with quantifiable results. Proficiency in process mapping, simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic), statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab), and ERP systems. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities. Strong project management and cross-functional team leadership skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities. Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
