Our Client is a leading global technology research centre advancing next-generation AI infrastructure across large-scale foundation models, multimodal AI, and intelligent platforms. Their teams focus on deeply integrated systems where algorithms, software, and hardware are co-designed to unlock step-change performance and scalability.

Reporting to senior technical leadership, this is a Principal-level role for engineers who operate across the full stack — from model algorithms to systems, kernels, and hardware. The role defines and drives next-generation AI computing architecture and requires proven ownership of large-scale, production systems.

You will lead end-to-end development across training and inference, spanning model efficiency, distributed systems, kernel optimization, and hardware–software co-design. This includes translating advanced research into production systems, driving 0 → 1 innovation to scaled deployment, and delivering measurable gains in performance, utilization, and scalability while influencing system and hardware design.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in LLM systems and large-scale AI infrastructure, with hands-on experience in quantization, sparsity, KV cache optimization, and parallelism strategies. Strong programming skills (C++/CUDA/Python), experience with modern AI frameworks, and the ability to perform kernel-level optimization and full-stack performance tuning are essential. A solid understanding of GPU/NPU architecture, memory hierarchy, and interconnects is required.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to operate seamlessly across algorithm, system, kernel, and hardware layers, with a track record of delivering production-grade AI systems at scale and leading cross-functional technical initiatives.
