Responsibilities:

Develop and execute thermal testing plans, interpret test data, and provide comprehensive reports. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (structural, electrical, systems) to integrate thermal solutions seamlessly into overall system design. Define thermal requirements and specifications based on system-level needs and environmental conditions. Identify and evaluate new technologies and materials for advanced thermal management applications. Troubleshoot and resolve complex thermal-related issues throughout the product lifecycle. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in the field of thermal engineering. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., NASA, MIL-STD) and project specifications. Contribute to proposal development and technical documentation. Qualifications:
Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Thermodynamics or Heat Transfer. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in thermal analysis and design, specifically within the aerospace or defense industry. Expert proficiency in thermal analysis software (e.g., ANSYS, SINDA/G, STAR-CCM+) and CAD tools. Deep understanding of heat transfer principles, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamic cycles. Proven experience in designing and testing thermal management systems for space, aviation, or defense applications. Strong knowledge of materials science relevant to thermal applications.
