Experteer Overview
As a Principal Process Engineer, you provide expert technical leadership across a broad wastewater portfolio and guide multidisciplinary design teams to deliver robust, sustainable solutions. You influence strategy, champion digital design, and drive whole-life value for Southern Water projects. You will shape technical decisions that affect current and future water treatment delivery, collaborating with project leads and stakeholders. This senior role offers meaningful impact through safety, innovation, and value-driven design.

- Oversee key technical deliverables, resolve complex issues, ensure quality, compliance and value for money

- Ensure design deliverables meet programme, customer and regulatory expectations, represent Southern Water at technical events
Tasks
- MEng/BEng/BSc or HNC in Chemical Engineering, Environmental, or related discipline
- Chartered Engineer status with a relevant institution (essential)
- Experience delivering water projects in the UK Water Industry
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
