Principal Research Scientist - Biologics

Key Responsibilities: Design and execute complex research projects focused on the discovery and development of novel biologic therapeutics. Utilize cutting-edge techniques in molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, and protein engineering. Oversee the design and execution of in vitro and in vivo studies to assess therapeutic efficacy and safety. Prepare high-quality scientific manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at international conferences. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including discovery biology, pharmacology, toxicology, and CMC. Contribute to the intellectual property strategy through invention disclosures and patent applications. Stay abreast of the latest scientific advancements and emerging technologies in the field of biologics and therapeutic development. Manage research budgets and resources effectively. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or a related life sciences discipline. A minimum of 8-10 years of post-doctoral and industry research experience in biologics discovery and development. Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and mentoring research teams. Extensive hands-on experience with a broad range of molecular and cell biology techniques. Proven track record of successfully advancing biologic candidates from discovery through early-stage development. Expertise in antibody engineering, protein therapeutics, or other complex biologic modalities. Strong understanding of drug development processes and regulatory pathways. Excellent scientific judgment, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with a strong publication record.
