Principal Scientist, Biomolecular Research

You will be responsible for designing and executing complex experiments, interpreting data, and contributing to strategic R&D planning. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage research projects in the area of biomolecular sciences, from conception to completion. Design and perform complex experiments, including molecular cloning, protein expression and purification, enzyme kinetics, and cell-based assays. Analyze and interpret experimental data, drawing robust conclusions and identifying next steps. Develop and validate new experimental methodologies and assays. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, and DMPK. Mentor and guide junior scientists and research associates. Prepare research reports, presentations, and contribute to scientific publications and patent filings. Stay current with the latest advancements and literature in relevant scientific fields. Contribute to the strategic direction of the R&D pipeline. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a closely related field. Minimum of 7 years of post-doctoral or industry research experience in drug discovery and development. Extensive hands-on experience with a wide range of molecular and cell biology techniques. Proven track record of independent research, evidenced by peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals. Strong understanding of disease mechanisms and therapeutic strategies. Experience in leading research projects and mentoring scientific staff. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Outstanding written and oral communication abilities. Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and techniques is desirable.
