Principal/Staff Software Engineer / Modern AI technologies needed

A Boston-based startup, with the backing of a $150 Billion company and led by founders with previous startup success, is looking to hire a Principal Software Engineer to build out their front end and mobile application. You'll be responsible for building out their apps from the ground up, using the latest AI technologies. Candidates must have experience building applications from the ground up and expertise using React, Swift, Typescript, and/or Kotlin, as well as have modern AI experience such as Claude 4.5+, OpenAI 5+, or Gemini 3.0+. Previous startup experience is required as you'll be working in a fast-paced environment, wearing multiple hats. This is an incredible opportunity to work on a next-gen AI application.

This role is 3 days onsite in East Cambridge.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years in software development
• Expertise in React, Swift, Typescript, and/or Kotlin
• Experience building applications from the ground up
• Front end and mobile development experience
• Modern AI experience with Claude 4.5+, OpenAI 5.0+, and/or Gemini 3.0+
• Previous experience working in a startup environment
