PRIVATE CLIENT ADVISOR / PORTFOLIO MANAGER

Optimize Financial Group
Toronto, CA; US
On-site

Job Description

Optimize Wealth Management is a fast-growing, independent wealth management firm headquartered in downtown Toronto.

We were built for experienced Advisors who want more — more autonomy, stronger economics, institutional-caliber investment capabilities, and the ability to deliver a true Multi-Family Office experience to their clients.

Our platform combines discretionary portfolio management, institutional investment strategies, and a comprehensive Family Office service model — empowering Advisors to compete at the highest level without grid compression, product pressure, or corporate conflicts.

Compensation Structure

Our compensation model is intentionally designed to outperform traditional grid structures and eliminate retroactive payout reductions.

  • 1% Transition Bonus (Perpetual).
  • 1% Ongoing Advisor Fee (No Grid / No Retroactive Tiers).
  • 3 Year Base Salary (Qualified Advisors Only).
  • 3% Succession Payout.

There are no production grids, no payout cliffs, and no retroactive adjustments. Advisors retain predictable economics while building long-term enterprise value.

The Opportunity

We are seeking established Private Client Advisors / Portfolio Managers ready to scale their practice within a high-performance, independent platform.

This role is designed for a proven Advisor who understands how to build, transition, and grow meaningful client relationships, and deliver more than retail products. The primary mandate is growth — expanding your client base, deepening wallet share, and delivering sophisticated discretionary portfolio management solutions.

If you are looking for a firm where your production is fully aligned with your compensation — and where you can operate with autonomy while leveraging institutional investment strategies, and a comprehensive Family Office — this opportunity is structured for you.

Multi-Family Office Platform

Optimize Advisors deliver a comprehensive service model typically reserved for ultra-high-net-worth families, including:

  • Tax Planning & Preparation.
  • Will & Estate Planning (specialist-supported, advisor‑led relationship).
  • Insurance Solutions.
  • Loans & Mortgage Advisory.

You remain the primary trusted advisor, while our in‑house specialists and platform infrastructure support execution behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continue building and expanding a high-net-worth client practice.
  • Deliver discretionary portfolio management and institutional-quality strategies.
  • Lead comprehensive wealth planning conversations across investments, tax, estate, insurance, and credit.
  • Position Optimize’s Multi‑Family Office capabilities to increase client engagement and consolidation.
  • Uphold regulatory standards in accordance with CIRO requirements.
  • Contribute to firm growth and leadership culture

Qualifications

Required:

  • Currently licensed as a Registered Representative with a CIRO‑regulated investment dealer.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a client‑facing advisory role.
  • Demonstrated success in client acquisition and practice growth.

Assets:

  • Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
  • Existing registration as a Portfolio Manager.
  • Experience managing discretionary or managed accounts.

Work Model

This position is based full‑time at our Bay Street office (5 days per week). We believe elite performance and culture are built through collaboration, accessibility to leadership, and in‑person engagement.

If you are an experienced Advisor ready to operate without grid constraints, deliver institutional strategies, and provide a true Multi‑Family Office experience — we welcome a confidential discussion.
