I’m currently partnering with a leading middle-market private equity firm to identify top talent at the Associate and Vice President level to join their Industrials investment team in Chicago.

Qualifications:
For Associate candidates:
- 2–4 years of experience in Investment Banking (Industrials coverage)
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skillset
- Experience supporting M&A transactions from pitch to close
- Demonstrated interest in private equity and investing
For Vice President candidates:
- 5–8+ years of experience across Investment Banking and Private Equity (Industrials coverage)
- Prior experience executing control equity investments
- Ability to lead deal processes and manage junior team members
- Strong commercial judgment and sector interest in Industrials
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate new investment opportunities, including financial modeling and industry research
- Lead or support due diligence processes across financial, operational, and commercial workstreams
- Prepare investment committee materials and present findings to senior leadership
- Work closely with portfolio company management teams to drive value creation initiatives
- Monitor existing investments and support portfolio strategy execution
- Mentor and develop junior team members (VP level)
