Private Equity Capital Markets Associate

Position Overview:

Our client is a $40bn Alternative investment firm, looking for a capital markets associate for the private equity team.

Responsibilities:

• The role involves navigating large financial institutions, deal sourcing, and relationship management within private equity
• The candidate will leverage their network and strategic insights to drive the firm's growth and secure new investment opportunities
• The candidate will assist in the drafting of internal Investment Committee materials as well as assist in the drafting, structuring and negotiating of credit documentation including term sheets, commitment letters and credit agreements
• Present weekly on the broadly syndicated and private credit markets including recent deals, competitor activity and notable market trends

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of leveraged finance, financial sponsors group or private credit investing
• Deal execution experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead and drive a process
• Great communicator, with ability to spearhead negotiations with external constituents
• Understanding of deal structuring and credit documentation
